a little change. . .

The weather is getting a little warmer in the South and it seems everyone wants to "update" their house.  A little change is always good. . .so why not update the chairs with a new color.

 The old tired chair seats were recovered in a pink and green ticking, making perfect for Spring!  Hope you like the chairs Juliette!

French Country Pillows

A Valentine Picnic. . .

 OK, so it's a stretch. . .

you know red dishes, wine, Valentine's Day

and if you live in south Florida or California you could have a picnic; otherwise, just bank the dishes and wine wait for warmer weather.

The cute red and white Melamine dishes. tablecloth, and vintage hymn books are available in my shop. . .you'll have to buy your own wine and find your perfect picnic spot.

Once and again. . .

Vintage wooden handles, ripped from a tattered and torn bag become new again.  A hand sewn linen bag is attached to the "bangle" style handles and a burlap and muslin flower is attached for "style". . .a new bag is born.

Why me?

just when I thought I was finished making curtains. . .yes, you guessed it--burlap panels would be nice! (or so the daughter "wished") What begins as a small project always grows into larger projects.  So, the burlap panel has been made and delivered. . .why not list it on etsy too?  Am I punishing myself?
