Transformation. . .

Beautiful heirloom linens are transformed into a custom designed baby gown. Two vintage damask napkins were used to create this unique christening gown. Ecru lace accents the neckline and hem.
This custom order dress is not available for sale; however, other designs are available at On The Square Antiques, Troy AL.

for the love of. . .

another bench!
Just what I need--another bench! I can't seem to ignore a bench (or footstool for that matter) that is in need of a re-do! This was a really sad vanity bench that was literally falling apart--a little glue, some time, black paint of course and wonderful fabric and we're done!
This is the perfect black vanity bench that has been distressed and covered in a black, cream, & white paisley fabric--it is perfect!
Available at http://misshetties.ecrater.com and at On The Square Antiques, Troy AL for $32

Art Deco meets Pretty in Pink. . .

This funky pink vanity was originally a 1940's "waterfall" style vanity, complete with glass shelf. The vanity has evidenty seen many owners--some of which adored pink! I have merely scraped away the worn white coat to expose the multiple pink layers--thus "Pretty Pink" is born!

The vanity is available at http://misshetties.ecrater.com/ and at On The Square Antiques, Troy AL.

Dream on. . .

the perfect chair!
Unfortunately, this chair isn't for sale--it's a "re-do" for my daughter and it will be delivered Saturday. I wonder if she will see it here first?

A tisket . . . a tasket. . .

a pink and purple basket. . .

This vintage basket was hand-painted to reflect the colors of glorious spring and summer. It would make the perfect picnic basket for a little girl's tea party, a carryall or simply cute accessory for a child's room. Whatever you choose, this bright basket is sure to bring joy!

Rescued . . .

This wonderful sharecropper's pie safe was once dry-brushed a hideous yellow--why would anyone obviously choose that color? White to the rescue! The pie safe is now clean and bright with 2 coats of clean white paint--ready for wire screen, glass or cute fabric on the doors.

The pie safe is available at On The Square Antiques, Troy AL for $250.
