Yes there's another pair of chairs
all freshened up with a (dry brushed) coat of white paint.
A steal at $30 for the pair. Available at Troy Antiques
a southern shop featuring redefined antiques, heirloom children's clothing, found treasures, and more....
For ghosts. . . goblins. . . And graveyards. . .
Halloween is almost upon us--well at least the decorating is and what more could you want but a tombstone!
Actually this piece was originally a firescreen but when I painted it, a different personality emerged. No matter what I did, it still looked like a tombstone. . . The kind in really old southern cemetarys that bears no inscription. So for the moment (or should I say month), it is a tombstone.
Availabe on Etsy and at Troy Antiques.
It seems I can't ever find time to blog anymore. . .
There's always something seemingly more important. . . Regardless, I'm giving this a whirl again and maybe I can be more consistent.
About the chairs. . . They were cute in their own right prior to painting, but they needed to match a painted drop leaf table. . . Thus the white. Now the chairs are clean, white, and most important. . . They match the table. Hope you enjoy them Juliette!
