Perfectly beautiful 1920's vanity with glove drawer. . .near mint condition.   I knew when I saw this vanity it would be even prettier painted white. The mirrors are original to the piece and so are the wooden drawer pulls on the bottom drawers and the glass drawer pulls on the glove drawer.  If you look closely you will see the white rabbit's reflection in the mirror

Flower girl dress. . .

A neautiful vintage pillowcase with pulled thread and white on white embroidery is the body of the dress and a vintage bridge tablecloth with cut work and embroidery makes the collar.   Satin ribbons in white and ecru make the ties.

Beautiful old quilt has been given new life as a shabby chic Christmas stocking. Cuff on the stocking is a vintage dresser scarf.

First impressions are not always correct. . .at least in this case.

This antique mantle--whitch is absolutely wonderful--has been totally transformed. Bobby at Cottage and Cabin has repurposed the mantle into a one of a kind headboard. The mantle piece has vintage boards, painted in wonderful accent colors, in the center opening. The mantle structure can be attached to the wall behind your bed frame.

This piece can also be used as an unusual accent piece in your home or beach house.

Still February and the buttercups (and yes these are called Buttercups in the South not Daffodils) and beginning to bloom! I am ready for warm weather so I can paint more furniture. . . Stay tuned!

This may seem early to some people, but if you are in a retail business--holidays are important and the quicker you get the decorations unpacked the better. I've been trying for 2 week to spread the red, white, and pink heart cheer but something always stopped me. Today I was determined--everything unpacked and decked out in red, white and. . .

Yes, I have painted white again.

A five drawer chest of drawers makes great storage for baby or college student. This chest had a difficult life and it suffered some water damage on the bottom back. It has been cleaned and painted white. Available at Troy Antiques for $68.

A clean approach. . .

There's always something seemingly more important. . . Regardless, I'm giving this a whirl again and maybe I can be more consistent.

About the chairs. . . They were cute in their own right prior to painting, but they needed to match a painted drop leaf table. . . Thus the white. Now the chairs are clean, white, and most important. . . They match the table. Hope you enjoy them Juliette!
