This vintage kitchen cabinet was painted black with a light cream interior. The doors still housed the original glass--imperfections and all! It makes a perfect small pie safe/casual china cabinet. This piece was a special order and it was delivered today to the excited owner! Hope you enjoy it Jennifer!

Wild African Safari. . .

actually no--my display only turned out this way!

My latest re-do is a 5 drawer chest of drawers. I painted it green then decided to dry brush it with black. The green just wasn't perfect and the black accents made it more unusual!

The display included this wonderful "tribal" theme stool that I found at the latest estate sale. The leather covered animals are courtesy of a friend downsizing--they really "make" the display! If you look closely, a vintage globe sits atop the chest of drawers along with a beautiful gold frame.

Goodbye Old Friend!

Well, I finally sold this wonderful old dry sink today!

You would think I'd be excited--but no! I really hate to see this piece leave the shop. It was "perfect" to me--the perfect size--easy to use for display--not too tall--other furniture could be stacked on top for display--the perfect color--it blended well with everything--the perfect attention getter--so many people loved this piece--but not one wanted to take it home until today! It is bought and paid for and will be picked up tomorrow! A kind young man purchased this and another piece for his mom's birthday! I hope she loves it as much as I did!

Perfect white dresses for two little girls! The dresses are for Gabi and Nicole who will be traveling to Germany for the christening of their brother, Alex. Best wishes to all of the family!

Transformation. . .

Beautiful heirloom linens are transformed into a custom designed baby gown. Two vintage damask napkins were used to create this unique christening gown. Ecru lace accents the neckline and hem.

another bench!

Just what I need--another bench! I can't seem to ignore a bench (or footstool for that matter) that is in need of a re-do! This was a really sad vanity bench that was literally falling apart--a little glue, some time, black paint of course and wonderful fabric and we're done!

This is the perfect black vanity bench that has been distressed and covered in a black, cream, & white paisley fabric--it is perfect!
